NJHS Denim Drive

Cab Calloway National Junior Honor Society is collecting old jeans and other denim clothing to donate to COTTON.FROM BLUE TO GREEN.®. This denim drive recycles jeans into UltraTouch™ natural Cotton Fiber Insulation, which is used to help build houses in places that have been damaged by hurricanes, tornadoes, and other natural disasters.

How to help:

1. Collect as many old denim jeans or clothing as you like.
2. The denim must be used.
3. The denim can be any brand.
4. The denim can be any color or size.
5. Place the used denim items in the containers in the front lobby.

DENIM DRIVE WILL RUN FROM MAY 11-18, 2009

It takes about 500 pairs of jeans to recycle enough denim to insulate one average-size U.S. house. Let’s try to collect as many used denim items as possible!
